Peter Parker (Spider-man) was born in Queens, New York. He lived with his parents Richard and Mary Parker, they died in a plane crash on a job for the CIA when he was a baby. He was raised by his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. His Uncle was shot and killed by a burglar. Peter is a Protestant Christian, as his Aunt was also. He is married to Mary Jane Watson-Parker prior to alteration of his personal history by Mephisto. He is a working class, hero. He is around 30 years of age. He studied at Midtown High School and is a College graduate (biophysics major) and doctorate studies in biochemistry (incomplete). He is a vigilante, inventor, and CEO of Parker Industries formerly known as Horizon Labs.
He got bit by a radioactive spider when he was a high-school student which granted Peter Parker spider-like powers. After his Uncle was murdered Peter vowed to use those abilities to protect his fellow man, driven by his uncle’s words: With great power comes great responsibility! His powers include clinging to most surfaces, superhuman strength, superhuman agility and a spider sense that gives him an early warning of danger in his vicinity. He also created himself web shooters that enable him to swinging around the city from a web like fluid, and also immobilise his enemies. He has a few weaknesses. Spider-Sense Disruption: Spider-Man’s Spider Sense can lose its effectiveness if it is blocked or temporarily weakened by specialized equipment or certain drugs. He is susceptible to the pesticide Ethyl Chloride and Anti-Venom’s Proximity: Anti-Venom’s failed attempt to cure Spider-Man of his radioactive blood resulted in Spider-Man’s powers slowly canceling out whenever Anti-Venom is too close to him. Also if Anti-Venom binds him with his own webbing abilities it will also negate Spider-Man’s powers until Spider-Man can get it off his body.
